Monrovian Army - the Foot Regiments (4 off)

Put the finishing touches to the bases for the last unit yesterday and did a little photo shoot. I've re-worked three existing units and added a fourth scraped together from spares.  All the units bear flags from a number of sources, some real from the period and others derived from flags of germanic states.

 The fourth regiment (from spares), my favourite so far - I like the main flag (derived from that of the Electorate of Brandenberg)

At the moment these 4 regiments will make be enough to start gaming once the Wittenberg foot regiments are done - these will take longer to do as they in not very good condition,  some of the figures are in need of some better heads and all need quite a bit of repainting work as well.

having done the cavalry for both Wittenberg and Monrovia I will now be able to start on the infantry..

Monrovian army - three regiments of horse

After finishing the Lifeguard, had a bit of session and refurbished three more regiments of horse for the Monrovian army, with a paintwork tidy and some new standards...

 there are two more regiments to be refurbished, these need a bit more work to finish off (a couple of new bases,  one unit needs heads to be added ....)
