Sedan Chair Mini-Project (part 2)
This little project is progressing nicely, saddle detail added to the horses, side poles added and with the basic slung sedan (made from cardboard) in place.
straps to hold the side poles to be added, then its on to painting.
Excellent so far... a pointing hand (or gouty foot) emerging from a window might be fun. Reminds me of a scene in The Three Musketeers where the heroine hitches a ride on the side of a sedan chair.
I don't think the users of the sedan chair had to clamber through the window :)
The sedan chair must have been set down on a plinth of some sort, the users then got in and the side poles were then positioned and secured; with the horses then harnessed up.
